User Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a Head User Acquisition Manager to join this VC-backed start-up – to drive growth on the mobile platform and become a key partner in the company's long term success. 

 

Task

Execute and manage mobile user acquisition campaigns and drive organic growth as we scale our platform.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Define and lead the overall UA performance marketing strategy to maximise growth profitably on the Dead Man’s Phone Platform

  • Develop new and innovative performance marketing strategies, focused squarely on key KPI’s - CPI, LTV, ROAS, etc

  • Monetization strategy, feature sets, in-game products, purchasing drivers, pricing, success metrics

  • A/B test campaign performance, target audiences, app store optimisations, LiveOps events and Lifecycle flow

  • Analyse both in-app user behaviour and paid digital campaigns, evaluating the most valuable sources for user acquisition

  • Work closely with our data analytic and creative teams to maximise engagement

  • Manage our Adjust partnership and in the influx of data from various sources.

  • Develop a strategic plan to drive our organic user base through social sharing systems and online community whilst we grow out our content pipeline

  • Develop revenue models and strategy for scaling up marketing and acquisition including pay per episode, season, or subscription offerings 

  • Create short and long term goals for growth on a bi-weekly and monthly basis

  • Integrate your work into agile sprint planning and team workflow

  • Be the spokesperson for all things UA related. Work with and report to management daily and stakeholders monthly with actionable insights to drive growth.

Essential

 

  • Previous work  experience in mobile games/apps/entertainment platform (ideally 3+ years)

  • Experienced across different mobile user acquisition channels

  • Budget owner for acquisition

  • Analytical mindset and growth hacker mentality

  • Skilled in revenue modelling using advanced Excel spreadsheets. 

  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, presenting insights clearly with actionable recommendations
